Zedia Martin

Zedia Wiseman Martin, 80, of Oak Hill, WV formerly of Kilsyth, WV died on Monday, February 27, 2006 at CAMC - Memorial Division in Charleston, WV. Born January 18, 1926 at Kilsyth, WV she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. Wiseman and Jesse Nettles Bradley. She was a retired dietician for Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill. Mrs. Martin was a member of the Mountain View Church of God, Hilltop, WV. She was a resident of Twin Oaks Plaza in Oak Hill where she had many friends and was loved by all that she knew. She was active in planning and participation of the residential recreation activities and was leader of the TOPS committee. A daughter, Toni Martin Burdette, one granddaughter, Alicia Burdette and one sister, Goldie Wiseman Burley preceded her in death. Survivors include one daughter, Kimberly Martin Spearin of Eustis, FL; four grandchildren, Scott (Stacy) Romine of Mount Hope, WV, Brook Spearin of Eustis, FL, Angela (Joey) Burdette Criss and Amanda (Kevin) Burdette Walker all of Mount Hope, WV; two great grandchildren, Sidney and Joshua Criss of Mount Hope, WV; one brother, C. Joseph Wiseman of New York, NY; one sister, Wanda Smith of Grundy, VA; a son-in-law, Clark Burdette; three very special nieces, Cheryl (Ronald) Burley Sayles and Beverly (Robert) Burley Ramsey all of Euclid, OH and Ann (Ernie) Stiltner of Grundy, VA and one special great nephew, Joseph Ramsey of Euclid, OH. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Wednesday, March 1, 2006, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Thursday, March 2, 2006, at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Rudell Bloomfield officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. Pallbearers will be Ronald Sayles, Robert Ramsey, Joseph Ramsey, Joey Criss, Joshua Criss and Kevin Walker.
