Winifred Lawson Parker , 78, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, September 01, 2009 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born February 21, 1931 at Gatewood, WV he was the son of the late Rupert Cyrus and Zoe Mary Jones Parker. Mr. Parker was of the Christian faith. A brother, Dewey Parker and sisters, Ruth Hovis, Eleanor Kelly and Thelma Morris preceded him in death. Survivors include two brothers, Rupert Parker of Oak Hill and Alfred Parker of Apex, NC and one sister, Beulah Kelly of Fayetteville Services will be on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 2:30 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Morris Nutter officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery at Rt 1 Fayetteville. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
