Wilma M. Minor Rice Evans

Wilma Maxine Minor Rice Evans , 77, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, July 04, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born December 20, 1934 at Kaymoor, WV she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Beulah Dempsey Minor. Mrs. Evans was a Christian and a homemaker. Sons, Ronald Eugene Rice, Larry Keith Rice and Scott Allen Evans preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Elmer G. Evans, four sons, Richard Rice of Princeton, KY, Billy Rice of Wichita, Kansas, Steven Rice of Fort Worth, TX, Daniel Evans of Mossy, eight daughters, Sandra Evans of Summersville, Beverly Toney of Knightdale, NC, Janet Forren, Minden, Melainie Miller of Oak Hill, Connie Thomas of Minden, Angel Grishaber of Charlotte, NC, and Tammy Jones of Minden, Christy Thomas of Oak Hill, and two brothers, Don Minor of Ohio and Phil Minor of Ohio. She is also survived by thirty nine grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Paul Basham officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
