Willogene Malinda Hamrick Brown , 69, of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born April 07, 1945 at Webster Springs, WV she was the daughter of the late Price and Nevada Channell Hamrick. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Hamrick. Survivors include husband, Frank R. Brown; one daughter, Patty Brown of Bradley; one son, Richard Brown of Oak Hill; brothers, Buddy Hamrick and wife, Sandy of Upper Glade and Bob Hamrick and wife, Norma of Bolair; and two sisters, Linda Collins and husband, Jimmy of Flatwoods and Nancy Adkins and Howard Worrick of Beckley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM after which Mrs. Brown is to be cremated.
