William "Bill" Sharpless

William E. "Bill" Sharpless, 47, of Apache Junction, AZ formerly of Mount Hope, WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 16, 2005. Born August 21, 1958 at Akron, OH he was the son of Barbara Wright of Beckley, WV and the late Frank Sharpless and stepson of Earl Wright of Beckley and the late Betty Sharpless. Bill was a US Army veteran. He had been a resident of Apache Junction for the past 20 years. In addition to his mother, he will be sadly missed by his sisters, Rosemary Miller and husband, John, of Beckley, WV and Teresa Thompson of Pax, WV; brothers, Robert Sharpless of Beckley, WV, Mike Sharpless and wife, Lynn, of New Bern, NC, Chuck Sharpless and wife, Brenda of Mesa, AZ, Elmer Wright of Mt. Airy, NC, Billy Joe Wright of Beckley, WV; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. A memorial service was held at Apache Junction Mortuary on Thursday, October 20, 2005. A remembrance service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 29, 2005 in the Pax Community Room next to the Pax City Hall with interment to follow at Pax Community Cemetery.
