William A. Saye

William Arnold Saye, 80, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond, VA. Born June 28, 1927 at Lick Fork, WV he was the son of the late William Arnold Saye, Sr. and Hazel Dawson Saye. He was a retired welder for Long Airdox. Mr. Saye was a member of the Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church in Oak Hill. He served in the US Navy during World War II and in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his wife, Marceline Foster Saye; one daughter, Karen Saye Story and husband, Michael of Prince George, VA; three sons, William Jay Saye and wife, Betty of Disputanta, VA, Michael T. Saye of Oak Hill and Danny J. Saye and wife, Kalley of Dinwiddie, VA; thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Services will be on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Jay Saye officiating and eulogy by John Hall. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
