William Mcgorman

William Junior McGorman, 81, of Elkins, WV died on Sunday, July 11, 2004 at Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins, WV formerly of Mount Hope, WV. Born June 13, 1923 at Rush Run, WV he was the son of the late John and Gladys Harris McGorman. Mr. McGorman was a former coal miner and Merchant Marine seaman on the Great Lakes. He served in the US Navy during World War II. Survivors include brothers, John R. McGorman of Dearborn Heights, MI and David D. "Butch" McGorman of Greenville, SC. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill. Graveside rites and committal service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by VFW Post #3110, Oak Hill.
