William "Bill" Janney

William A. "Bill" Janney, 82, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, May 20, 2004 at his home in Oak Hill, WV. Born December 06, 1921 at Long Branch, WV he was the son of the late John William and Mary Lou "Molly" Souder Janney. He was a retired salesman for King Coal Chevrolet & Cadillac, Oak Hill. Mr. Janney was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Oak Hill. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Dee Janney; grandson, Timothy Patrick Adkins; four sisters, Mable Davis, Vivian Collins, Edith Janney and J. Irene Lively and three brothers, Eldee, Elliott and Mason Janney. Survivors include wife of 62 years, Eunice Underwood Janney; daughter, Euna Lee (Carl) Conelly of Conway, SC; brothers, Howard E. (Norma) Janney of Oak Hill and O.D. Janney of Crab Orchard; sisters, Athylene Janney Bergendahl of Beckley; grandchildren, Bryon Scott (Marvie) Adkins of Georgetown, SC, Avery Gayle (Austin) Pace of Myrtle Beach, SC and Kiere Lee Bradley of Charleston, WV; great grandson, Cameron Price Bradley of Myrtle Beach, SC. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, May 22, 2004, from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Services will be on Satruday, May 22, 2004, at 2:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Alvie Edwards officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia, PO Box 1472, Beckley WV 25802.
