William L. Hoover

William Lee "Bill" Hoover, 48, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, August 10, 2009 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born October 08, 1960 at Indianapolis, IN he was the son of Aurritta C. Waggoner Hoover Taylor of Oak Hill and the late Irvin Hoover of Indianapolis and stepson of the late Charles H. Taylor of Robson. Bill was an avid car enthusiast and loved anything that had a motor. He was a life-long friend to many and loved his family. His maternal grandparents, Clarence and Iola Waggoner and paternal grandparents, Kermit and Eula Taylor preceded him in death. In addition to his mother he is survived by a sister, Shannon M. Wells and Brian K. Lyons of Beckley; brother, Donald L. Hoover and wife, Rhonda of Oak Hill; four nephews Cody Wells of Beckley, Matthew Hoover of Oak Hill; Thomas Hoover and Donald Hoover both of Indianapolis, IN and three nieces, Sierra Lyons of Beckley, Jackie Smith of Beckley and Brittany Hoover of Oak Hill. Services will be on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Alliance Church in Oak Hill with Pastor Albert "Skip" Bowman officiating. Burial will be at Settle Cemetery in Robson. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to assist with the funeral expenses.
