William E. Hewitt, Jr.

William Edward "Bill" Hewitt Jr., 56, of Oak Hill, WV died on Saturday, December 25, 2004 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV following a long illness. Born April 09, 1948 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late William E. Hewitt, Sr. and Blanche Bowyer Hewitt. He was a disabled mechanic for the Fayette County Board of Education with 20 years service and had been employed by Kerr Glass in Millville, NJ for 18 years. Mr. Hewitt was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Hewitt and a nephew, Robert Hewitt. Survivors include son, William E. Hewitt, III and wife, Colleen, of Millville, NJ; daughter, Virginia Hewitt of Millville, NJ; grandsons, Ryan Hewitt and William E. Hewitt, IV and granddaughter, Nicole Hewitt all of Millville, NJ; brother, Roger Hewitt, Sr. and wife, Katie, of Oak Hill; sister, Mildred Dancy and husband, David, of Beckley; sister-in-law, Karen Kewitt of Newport, TN; nephews, Roger Hewitt, Jr. of Oak Hill, Eric Arthur of Oak Hill, John Hewitt, II of Newport, TN and Anthony Hewitt of Newport, TN; niece, Rebecca Miller of Ft. Pierce, FL. Bill is also survived by his fiance, Crystal Skaggs of Oak Hill and her children, Patrick and Tracy of Ansted. Also by several great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of special friends. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Monday, December 27, 2004, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Services will be on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at 11:00 am at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. Pallbears will be William E. Hewitt, III, Rogert Hewitt, Jr., Eric Arthur, John Hewitt, II, Anthony Hewitt and Patrick Skaggs.
