William R. Grunenberg

William R. Grunenberg, 80, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV from injuries received in an automobile accident. Born April 8, 1932 at Minden, WV, he was the son of the late Anton P. and Sally Webster Grunenberg. He was a truck driver, attended the Jones Avenue First Church of God, Oak Hill and was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in Korea. He was also a member of Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include two sons, Billy Grunenberg of Pittsburgh, PA and Christopher Grunenberg of Salem, NC; two daughters, Debra Luft and Patricia Grunenberg, both of Pittsburgh, PA; one brother, Donald Grunenberg of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and two sisters, Margaret Lattanzi and Mildred Ball, both of Fayetteville, WV; and nine grandchildren. Committal services will be held Monday, December 17, 2012 at 11:00 A. M. at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoelum, Oak Hill with Pastor Ralph Shupe officiating. Entombment will follow at the mausoleum with Military Honors provided by Oak Hill VFW Post 3110.
