William "Wig" Grose

William "Wig" Grose, 79, of Ansted, WV died on Tuesday, February 03, 2009 at Hilltop Center in Hilltop, WV. Born March 31, 1929 at Beckwith, WV he was the son of the late Albert Grose and Gladys Arthur Adkins. He was a retired night watchman for Cranberry Lumber. A sister, Thelma Bryson, brother, Bobby Clemons and a special nephew, Allen Adkins preceded him in death. Survivors include a brother, John Grose of Beckwith, half-brother, Nathan Adkins of Chester, SC and a half-sister, Phyllis Bryson of Ansted. Services will be on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 2:30 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Brother Wayne Bryson officiating. Burial will be at Adkins Cemetery, Crow Hollow at Beckwith.
