William ""Doug"" Douglas Gent William ""Doug"" Douglas Gent , 51, of Goodlettsville, TN died on Thursday, February 27, 2003 at at home in Goodlettsville, TN. Born May 31, 1951 at Rainelle, WV he was the son of the late Thomas Leonard and Harrie Regina Ingram Gent. He was a self employed Recording Engineer and was a member of A.S.C.A.P. Mr. Gent graduated from Collins High School, Oak Hill and WVU. He attended a Music Academy in St. Louis and a workshop on music in Chillicothe, OH. He was formerly employed by OMNI Cable Syster for 12 years and had designed Oak Hill's cable system.. He was preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Thomas, Jr. and Fred Gent and one sister, Penny Gent. Survivors include Former spouse and best friend, Emma Gent of Oak Hill 2 stepdaughters, Shelly Riser of Powhatan, VA and Tabby Budde of Key West, FL 2 grndchildren, Kayla Rise and Paige Budde Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and on Saturday at Jabberwock Cafe, 115 Heber Street, Beckl from 2:00 to 5:00 pm Services will be on March 29, 2003 at 11:30 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill.
