William Douglas “Doug” Nicely , 54, of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born February 12, 1957 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of Homer Ernest and Marguerite Kelley Nicely of Oak Hill. In addition to his parents, Doug is survived by one sister, Teresa Drennen of Woodbury, MN, two brothers, John Nicely of Oak Hill and Homer E. Nicely, Jr. of Oak Hill as well as several nieces and great nieces and his faithful friend - his pet dog, Penny. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Mike Kees officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
