William Thomas Crawford, Jr. , 89, of Senoia, GA formerly of Scarbro, WV died on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at his home.
Born October 06, 1927 at Mount Hope, WV he was the son of the late William Thomas Crawford, Sr. and Lorna Catherine Fitzpatrick Crawford.
Bill was a retired chief electrician for New River Company. He attended the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene and was a US Navy veteran.
Sisters, Wilma Phillips, Genevieve Lilly, Catherine Berry and Erma Louise Pennington; and brother, James Crawford preceded him in death.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Margaret Karnes Crawford; one son, William T. Crawford, III and wife, Deborah of Peachtree City, GA and his mother, Hazel Crawford of Griffin, GA; stepson, Raymond Hurd and wife, Monica of Navaree, FL; former daughter-in-law, Donna Crawford; grandchildren, Megan Poling and husband, Jerry of Willis, TX, Jessica Halfpap and husband, Josh of San Antonio, TX and Evan Crawford of Terra Alta; nine great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Dr. Randy L. James officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park., Oak Hill. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2525 Highway 34 East, Newnan GA 30265
