William R. Clement

William "Bill" Ralph Clement, 82, of Kincaid, WV died on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born June 21, 1924 at Robson, WV he was the son of the late Charles Henry and Opal Mary Ellison Clement. He was a retired Television Repair Technician. Bill was a World War II US Navy veteran. He served as a Torpedoman's Mate First on the USS Tinosa which was credited with sinking 150,000 tons of Japanese shipping. He was awarded a Silver Star. Three brothers, Charles, Tom and Kenneth Clement preceded him in death. Survivors include a brother, Franklin D. Clement of Houston, TX Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, October 20, 2006, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with cremation to follow. There will be no service.
