William Charles "Chuck" Washburn

William "Chuck" Charles Washburn , 56, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, August 02, 2012 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born July 04, 1956 at Painesville, OH he was the son of the late Gerald Keith and Patricia Ann Perkins Washburn. Mr. Washburn was a founding member of the Grace Baptist Church in Fayetteville where he served as a Trustee and Sunday school superintendent. He was a 1974 graduate of Collins High School in Oak Hill and a member of the Lions Club. Chuck was a ASE Master Automotive Technician for Ramey Ford in Beckley. He was the former owner/operator of Value Tech in Oak Hill for 11 years. A sister, Tina Marie Washburn Motley preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Yvonne Kay Lilly Washburn, one son, Zachariah Charles Washburn and fiancee, Heather Quesenberry of Oak Hill, two daughters, Elisabeth Faith Washburn Hess and husband, Tom of Oak Hill and Priscilla Ann Washburn Griffith and husband, Matt of Oak Hill and two grandchildren, Sophia Rose Griffith and Jackson Paul Hess. He is also survived by a sister, Katharine Sue Washburn Cales and husband, Matt of Oak Hill, mother-in-law, Rosenell "Tootsie" Lilly of White Oak, brothers-in-law, Elijah Lilly of White Oak and William "Willy" Lilly and wife, Sherri of White Oak, sister-in-law, Sarah Lilly Harvey and husband, David of White Oak, three nieces, six nephews, four great nieces and three great nephews as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 6, 2012 at the Grace Baptist Church, Fayetteville, WV with Pastor Delbert Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV. Friends may call the the Grace Baptist Church from 12:00 Noon until the service hour of 2:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Tom Hess, Matt Griffith, Matt Cales, William Lilly, II, Justin Scarafino, David Harvey, Sr., David Harvey, Jr. and William Lilly.
