William David Buttrick

November 4, 1951 — February 28, 2009

William David Buttrick, 57, of Oak Hill, WV went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at his home. Born November 04, 1951 at Oak Hill Hospital in Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late William "Bill” and Madeline Fedukovich Buttrick. Mr. Buttrick was a member of the Oak Hill Apostolic Holiness Church where he was a faithful choir member and where he was known as the “choir clown.” He was employed by Charleston Janitor Service and Professional Building Maintenance. Dave was a very outgoing person and was loved by everyone and a stranger to no one. He loved and devoted his time to his grandkids and family. He enjoyed traveling, yard sales/flea markets, NASCAR, WVU football and FHS football and collecting autographs. He was up for anything. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his only sister, Linda Ellen Buttrick Higginbotham. Those left behind to treasure and cherish his loving memory are his beloved and faithful wife, whom he loved very much, Eva Jane Buttrick; his only son and "buddy", William David Buttrick, Jr.; his baby girl, Angela Renee "Sissy" Johnson and her husband, whom he thought of as his second son, Jason and two well loved grandkids, Danelle Nicole "Nicky Joe" Zaccheo and Justin Wayne "Buckyboy" Johnson. Also surviving are a special nephew, Chris Higginbotham; father-in-law, George Harrison Treadway; beloved friend, Louella Vaughn and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles as well as his in-laws, Gary and Linda Treadway, Rita and Michael Arritt, Brenda and William Smith, Dottie and Ronnie Stump, Pam and Larry Moore, George and Cindy Treadway, Nova and LeRoy Inman and Helbert and Cindy Treadway and his beloved pet dogs, Chase and Snowball. Dave will be greatly missed by his family, church family and friends. Services will be on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Apostolic Holiness Church in Oak Hill with Rev. Carlos Lewis and Evangelist Erik Lewis officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at the Apostolic Holiness Church in Oak Hill on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, from 6:00 PM. Jason Johnson, Maxie Fedukovich, Jeremy Moore, Wayne Casto, Chris Higginbotham, Johnny B. Simacke and Michael McGuire will serve as pallbearers.
