William L. "Billy" Whaples

William "Billy" Lee Whaples, 31, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV following a long illness. Born November 16, 1976 at Key West, FL he was the son of Gary Whaples of Oak Hill, WV and Denise Summers Whaples Mullins of Oak Hill, WV. He was a coal miner for Appalachian Fuel at Pax, WV. Additionally he is survived by his wife, Jamie Perry Whaples; two daughters, Mallorie Whaples and Mae Whaples both of Oak Hill and two half-brothers, Paul Jeremie Buckner of Oak Hill and Cory Whaples of Oak Hill. He is also survived by two grandmothers, Ilene Summers and Lorraine Whaples. Services will be on Sunday, December 23, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Ralph Shupe officiating. Burial will be at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, December 22, 2007 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
