In memory of our dear husband, dad, brother, friend and co-worker, Bill Dooley, age 56 of Oak Hill who will be deeply missed, with whom we share good memories, and who we were proud to know. We thank God for the short time that he was on this earth and the memories that he had left with us. Bill will be sadly missed but not forgotten. He left a little piece of himself with each and everyone he came in contact with. Bill very much enjoyed and loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed going to the beach, watching WVU football, camping and fishing and spending time and swapping stories with his family underground. William Roger “Bill” Dooley was born March 25, 1954 at Oak Hill, the son of the William Rexford and Ruby Bruno Dooley. Bill was a coal miner having worked for Alpha Natural Resources at the Kingston Mining Inc., No 3 mine. A veteran of the US Army he served as a member of the 101st Airborne Division. He will be sadly missed by his surviving wife, children, grandchildren, family and co-workers. The man Bill Dooley lost his life Monday, October 11, 2010 in a underground coal mine accident and died at 12:05. This man is my papaw, my dad and everything in life. He was a great man and I don't know what I am to do without him in mine and my family's life. Please pray for me to stay strong and respect every single coal miner out there today because of they risk their lives every day. I will miss you papaw and I love you like the dad I never had. I'm sorry that you are not here with me now; I miss you so much and I love you with all my heart. Online condolences may be sent to www.tyreefuneralhome.com .
