William James "Bill" Byset

William James “Bill” Byset, age 80 of Glen Jean, WV passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011 at CAMC Memorial Division in Charleston, WV. Born January 17, 1931 at Glen Jean, WV, he was the son of the late John”Buzz” and Grace Light Byset. Bill retired as a administrator with the US Government and attended Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill. He served his country with the US Army in the Korean War and also served with the Peace Corps in Ecuador. His service with his country permitted him to travel the world. Surviving are his two nieces, Mary Byset Menefee and her husband Michael of Manassas, VA and Ginny Byset Napier and husband Dennis of Yorktown, VA. Also surviving are his cousin Joan Walker of Fayetteville, WV and two second cousins, Daniel and Michael Donnelly. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with Father Paul Yuenger officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Friday, October 28, 2011. Michael Donnelly, Daniel Donnelly and Danny Donnelly, Jr. will serve as pallbearers.
