William John "Bill" Boyle

William John “Bill” Boyle , aged 91, of Beckley, WV died on Monday, July 04, 2011 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born February 02, 1920 at Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late William M. and Ellen Atwood Boyle. Mr. Boyle was retired from Unisys Corporation and later Raleigh Hardware. He was a veteran of World War II having served as a member of the US Air Force. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Phoebe Axelroth Boyle and a sister, Ellen Joyce. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Gay Dew Boyle, two daughters, Susan Fisher of Wayne, PA and Stephanie Peters and husband, Merrit of Philadelphia, PA, stepdaughter, Helen Bartoe and husband, Donald of Annapolis, MD and a sister, Alice Buckley of West Chester, PA. Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the United Methodist Temple in Beckley with Rev. Chuck Pullins officiating. Entombment will be at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum, Beckley. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
