Willard "Jess" Elam

Willard "Jess" Elam, 71, of Robson, WV died on Tuesday, July 05, 2005 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV of a sudden illness. Born January 18, 1934 in Fayette County, WV he was the son of the late Willard and Myrtle Eddison Elam. Jess was a retired supervisor for Thrall Car Manufacturing Company of Chicago Heights, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Hunter Elam and a daughter, Tina Elam. Survivors include one daughter, Matilda Weis of Indiana; three sons, Willard Elam and James Elam both of Indiana and Dennis Elam of Illinois; one sister, Joyce Ann Bance; one brother, Pat Elam; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mr. Elam was cremated. There will be a memorial service in Illinois at a later date.
