Wilga Williams Farmer , 89, of Napierville, IL formerly of Rt 1 Scarbro, WV died on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at DuPage County Convalescent Center in Wheaton, IL. Born September 01, 1919 at Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Williams and Havana Fields Williams Thacker. She was a retired Church of God minister. Mrs. Farmer was a member of the Mossy Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abner Farmer on October 3, 1995, her step-father, Albert Thacker and brothers, Tilden Thacker, Ellis Thacker and Aldre Thacker. Survivors include two daughters, Fayetta Daugherty of Poway, CA and Judy K. Farmer of Napierville, IL; five sisters, Sylvia Scarberry of Paw Paw, KY, Joyce Jean Merith of Morehead, KY, Louise Compton and Judy Goode both of Kentucky and Lorine Sandy of Bud, WV; seven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Services will be on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Paul Basham officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV.
