Wesley R. Dixon, Jr.

Wesley Roy Dixon, Jr., 64, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, May 05, 2005 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV following a short illness. Born June 13, 1940 at Deepwater, WV he was the son of the late Wesley R. Dixon, Sr. and Margaret Vivian Stone Dixon. He was a retired self employed carpet installer. Mr. Dixon was a member of the Packs Branch Baptist Church, Packs Branch, WV, where he was a Sunday school teacher for many years and actively served the Lord. He was a US Army veteran. Survivors include wife, Marion Sue Brady Dixon; step-sons, Mark Dean Fain of Oak Hill, Charles Partin of Ohio and Elvis Partin of Tennessee; niece whom he raised, Melissa Ann Corley of Ocala, FL; two sisters, Edyth Phillips of Ohio and Vivian Belding of Texas and by 10 step grandchildren Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV on Sunday, May 8, 2005, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Services will be on Sunday, May 8, 2005, at 3:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Sam Vance officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV.
