Wanda Marie Sammons Chennault , 62, of Hilltop, WV died on Tuesday, February 07, 2012 at her home. Born September 05, 1949 at Fort Meade, MD she was the daughter of the late Edward and Yvonne Sack Sammons. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Michael S. Chennault, Sr., son, Chad Edward Shepherd and fiancee, Mekinzi of Scarbro, two daughters, Tawnee Yvonne Shepherd and fiance, Gary Harvey of Oak Hill and Debbie Ellison and husband, Bobby of Hico, stepchildren, Michael Chennault, Jr. and Ashley Michelle Chennault, and a sister, Betty Rakes of Ashland, KY. She is also survived by grandchildren, Breanne Naylor, Jayden Shepherd, Haley Schuss and Amber Naylor, five step grandchildren, two great grandchildren, Tiffany Perry and Stephen Browning, nephew, Daniel Rakes and a niece, Suzie Gilbert. In keeping with her wishes, Wanda was cremated. A memorial services will be on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. at the Victory Independent Baptist Church in Victor with Rev. Gerald Grant officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
