Wanda Mae Comer Powell, 55, of Oak Hill, WV died Wednesday, January 5, 2005, at Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill, WV. Born May 08, 1949 at Rock Lick, WV she was the daughter of the late William H. and Alice Marie Treadway Comer. Ms. Powell was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Wayne Comer. Survivors include son, Gary John Powell of Oak Hill; brothers, Gary Wayne Comer of Oak HIll and Dennis James Comer of Eustis, FL. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Sunday, January 9, 2005, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Services will be on Sunday, January 9, 2005 at 1:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV.
