Wanda Eads Franklin

Wanda Opal Eades Franklin , 84, of Daleville, VA died on Monday, June 26, 2006 at Augusta Medical Center in Fisherville, VA. Born June 10, 1922 at Page, WV she was the daughter of the late William Preston and Lucinda "Lucy" Chaney Eads. Wanda was a retired postmistress for the US Postal Service at Kincaid with 30 years service. Her husband, c.W. Franklin, Jr., three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Survivors include son, Leon Franklin, Sr. and wife, Jackie, of Stuarts Draft, VA; two daughters, LaVerne Cosner and husband, Bob of Daleville, VA and Annita Kipp and husband, Bob of Tampa, FL; one sister, Commella Barnett of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren, Greg Cosner and wife, Anita of Daleville, VA, Leon Franklin, Jr. of Wardensville, WV, , Angelique Lochridge and husband, Andy of Tampa, FL and Jennifer Fitzgerald and husband, Travis of Fisherville, VA; and four great grandchildren, Joshua Franklin of Waynesboro, VA, Alexandra Lochridge of Tampa, FL, Cory Cosner of Daleville, VA and McKinley Fitzgerald of Fisherville, VA. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, June 30, 2006, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Services will be on Friday, June 30, 2006, at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Daniel Rice officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
