Wanda Pearl Berry Davis, 85, of Summerville, SC formerly of Willis Branch, WV died on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Life Care Center of Charleston in Charleston, SC following a long illness. Born March 05, 1922 at Raleigh County, WV she was the daughter of the late L.P. and Gracie Lafferty Berry. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Garfield Davis on Feb 17, 1986. Survivors include two daughters, Vernonia Tyree and husband, Charles of West Salem, OH and Dorothy Faye Helm and husband, Ledwarth of Summerville, SC; three grandchildren, Jim Tyree and wife, Jill of West Salem, OH, Sherry Vedder and husband, Kurt and Debra Tompkins and husband, Jamie of Summerville, SC; six great grandchildren, Jacob and Jessica Tyree, Justin and Alison Vedder and Sarah and James Tompkins Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Sunday, March 25, 2007, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Services will be on Sunday, March 25, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Stephen Davis officiating. Burial will be at Davis Cemetery, Willis Branch WV.
