Wanda J. Boyan Droppleman

Wanda Joan Droppleman, 86, died Tuesday March 29th at Bowers Hospice House after a short illness. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, John Boyan and her mother Mary, and brother Frank. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John J Droppleman, her daughter, Joan D. Skaggs and her son, John J. Droppleman, Jr. and his wife, Glynis. She has one grandson, John D. Skaggs. She is also survived by her niece, Annette Jennings, and numerous other relatives. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 TO 8:00 PM at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Prayer Serivce at 6:30 PM. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church in Oak Hill on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Father Paul Yuenger officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley WV, 25802.
