Wallace Dean Plumb , 62, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Born November 02, 1953 at Minden, WV he was the son of the late Wallace Reed and Wanda Lester Plumb.
Wallace was a 1971 graduate of Collins High School in Oak Hill and a US Air Force veteran. He was a former raft guide for multiple companies and Master Technician for King Coal Chevrolet.
Sisters, Ruby Duncan and Beverly Jones preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, Nicholas Dean Plumb and Shane Michael Plumb and their mother his former wife, America St. Clair; daughter, Christy Nichols of Jody; sisters, Carrie Plumb of Oak Hill and Flossie Olsen of Blythe, CA; and brothers, Richard Plumb of Danese and Frank (Linda) Plumb of Illinois.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Ronnie Williams, Benny Williams, Pauline Nichols, Courtney Nichols and William Nichols all of Jodie; nephews, Ronald (Stephanie) McKinney of Oak Hill, Frank (Sue) McKinney of Gauley Bridge, David (Peggy) Plumb of Oak Hill and Richard Plumb, Jr. of Hilltop; nieces, Christole (Cody) Thomas of Oregon, Roni St. Clair, Brandy McKinney and Bailey McKinney all of Oak Hill; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial will be at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
