Vivian Martha Smith Blake, 92, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at Laurel Ridge Care Home in Oak Hill, WV. Born 07/20/1911 at Oak Hill, WV she was the daughter of the late Wylie and Carrie Comer Smith. Mrs. Blake was a retired Store Manager for Sayer Brothers Department Store, a member of the Oak Hill United Methodist Church and the Senior Citizens and attended the Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church, Oak Hill She was preceded in death by her her husband, Nolen Maxwell Blake; son, Nolen Charles Blake; grandson, Robert F. Wood, Jr.; sisters, Olive Shutt, Myrtle Honaker, Lillian Stroud, Katherine Peffley; brothers, Albert Smith, General Smith and Ernest Smith. Survivors include Daughters: Kathrine Uhl and husbnad, Ralph of Union Hall, WV Norma Jean Brown of Oak Hill Nancy Wood and husband, Robert of Oak Hill Sandra Painter and husband, Ronald, of Fairborn, OH Brother: Elmer Smith and wife, Lanna of Los Angles, CA 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Friday, August 15, 2003, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm. Services will be on August 15, 2003 at 2:30 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
