Virginia O'Dell

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Virginia Luella Skaggs O'Dell, 81, of Fayetteville, WV died on Monday, October 13, 2003 at her home in Fayetteville, WV following a long illness. Born November 27, 1921 at Horseshoe, WV she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Bessie Skaggs. Mrs. O'Dell was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God, Fayetteville, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Albert O'Dell; sons, Arlin Dale O'Dell; and sisters, Velma McGuire and Hallie Lightner. Survivors include SONS: Darrell O'Dell and wife, Rose Lee of Victor Wayne O"Dell and wife, Tammy of Fayetteville Laird O'Dell and wife, Candy of Hico DAUGHTERS: Ina Hellms and husband, Shirley of Canvas Delpha Bennett and husband, John of Fayetteville Rosanna Treadway of Fayetteville Dreama Carte and husband, Galen of Fayetteville Tresha Plumley and husband, Jim of Fayetteville SISTER: Oma Anderson of Cincinnati, OH HALF SISTERS: Lela Canterbury of Clendenin Lisa Davis of Oak Hill 16 grandchildren 22 great grandchildren she is also survived by a special friend, Lorene Holcomb of Fayetteville Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Wednesday, October 15, 2003, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Services will be on Thursday, October 16, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Robert Maddox and Pastor Bob Coulter officiating. Burial will be at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville WV.
