Virginia O'Boyle

Virginia Elizabeth Rhodes O'Boyle, 84, of Lochgelly, WV died on Monday, February 09, 2004 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV following a long illness. Born June 13, 1919 at Whipple, WV she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Minnie Cody Rhodes. Mrs. O'Boyle was a member of the Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church, Oak Hill, WV and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Hubert O'Boyle in 1970; sisters, Estelle Matulis, Genevieve McMillion, Lorene Duncan and Josephine Rhodes. Survivors include Sons: Hubert R. O'Boyle and wife, Glennis, of Ty Ty, GA George J. O'Boyle and wife, Sue, of Albany, GA Christopher O'Boyle and wife, Linette, of Jackson, OH Daughters: Daisy O. Shrout of Oak Hill Denna Beach and husband, Pete, of Florence, KY Connie M. Porter and husband, Ed, of Rockledge, FL Brother: William Ernest Rhodes of Summerlee Sisters: Edna Criss of Oak Hill Georgia Fisher of Glen Jean Irene Elkins of Elyria, OH Norma Menei of Mount Hope 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Tuesday, February 10, 2004, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Services will be on Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at 1:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
