Virginia Gail Neff Schoolcraft, 82, of Scarbro passed away at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Born June 6, 1942 in Clay Co. she was the daughter of the late Lee and Georgie Shamblin Neff.
Virginia worked as a dietary manager at Fayette Continuous Care for many years. She enjoyed making people laugh until they cried. She was of the Baptist faith and was a witness for God.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband Ralph Okey Schoolcraft' son, Ralph Dale Schoolcraft' sisters, Linda Neff and Rosa "Sharon" Adkins; brothers, Charlie Neff, Burl Allen Neff, and Willis Neff.
Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include daughters, Ruth and Wilma Schoolcraft; sons, David (Debbie) Schoolcraft, Jerry (Angie) Schoolcraft, and John (Susie) Schoolcraft; grandchildren, Sarah (Josh) Schoolcraft, David II (Maegen) Schoolcraft, Peyton "Seth" (Karah) Schoolcraft, Mikel Schoolcraft, and Angel (Dan) O'Neal; great grandchildren, Ayden Byrd, Trenton Meadows, Kenneth Schoolcraft and Vaylee Schoolcraft; sisters, Krista "Sissy" (Sam) Smith, Ruby Ramsey, and Sally (Oscar) Pennington; brothers, Edgar (Marlene) Neff, Jr., Woodrow "Buddy" (Jan) Neff, and Clarence (Ramona) Shamblin; and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her wishes Virginia will be cremated and graveside rites with burial to follow will be 11:00 AM on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Sunset Cemetery in Bickmore, WV.
