Virginia Eloise Garrett

Virginia Eloise Burton Garrett, 81, of Mount Hope, WV died on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, WV. Born August 18, 1926 at Kaymore, WV she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Avena Burton. Mrs. Garrett attended the Church of God and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh L. Garrett on December 1, 1981; two sons, Donald and Buddy Garrett; one daughter, Sandra Lynn Garrett and by four sisters and one brother. Survivors include daughter, Brenda Pino of Mount Hope; two sons, Ronald Hugh Garrett and wife, Peggy of Mount Hope and Paul Timothy Garrett and wife, Ramona of Mount Hope; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren Services will be on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Assembly of God in Mount Hope with Rev. Jerry Cantley and Rev. Jessie Parker officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV, Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Saturday, January 26, 2008 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Family members will serve a pallbearers.
