Virginia Mae Tincher Cobb Clay , 87, of Page, WV died on Tuesday, December 09, 2008 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born September 02, 1921 at Dempsey, WV she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Eunice Scott Tincher. Mrs. Clay was a member of the Kincaid First Church of God and the Women of the Church of God. She was a homemaker. Her first husband, Homer R. Cobb, Jr., second husband, Edward Clay; three infant children; five brothers, Basil, Jesse, Luther, Leonard and Phillip Tincher and two sisters, Alma Wolford and Hester Shrader preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Thomas G. Cobb and wife, Cheryl of Page, Paul Allen Cobb and wife, Barbara of Page, and Robbie Wayne Cobb and wife, Mary Ellen of Page; one daughter, Kathy Sue Thomas and husband, Will of Roanoke, VA; three stepsons, Floyd Clay and wife, Kathy of Kincaid, Ronald Clay and wife, Jeannie of Robson and Donald Clay of Page and two stepdaughters, Mary Price and husband, Sydney of Ingram Branch and Marlene Rogers and husband, David of Charlottesville, VA. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, four step grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren. Services will be on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Gerald Grant and Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating.
