Viola Toney

Viola G. "Red" Lewis Toney of Mount Hope, WV died on Thursday, January 15, 2004 at Hilltop Healthcare Center in Hilltop, WV following a long illness. Born at Page, WV she was the daughter of the late Homer C. and Gertrude Wilson Lewis. Mrs. Toney was a retired clerk for a cable company in Mount Hope, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Ruben "Cap" Toney; brothers, Frank, Harry, Lacy and Homer "Woody" Lewis; sisters, Dorothy Gast, Vona Harding, Evelyn Hambrick, Belva Audrick, Helen Lewis andPearl Hamilton. Survivors include Sister: Naomi Lewis of Wilmington, DE Brother: John Lewis, Warren, OH and by several nieces and nephews including her caregivers, Margaret Mann of Cool Ridge and Cindy Scarbro of Oak Hill Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Saturday, January 17, 2004, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Sunday, January 18, 2004, at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Harmon Davis officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
