Viola G. Rakes

Viola Grace Rakes, 73, of Repbulic, OH died on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at her home. Born May 07, 1932 at Carlisle, WV she was the daughter of the late John Posey and Fannie Grace Adkins Rakes. Survivors include two brothers, Cecil Rakes of Hilltop, WV and Charles (Betty) Rakes of Strasburg, OH; four sisters, Pearl Bryan of Louisana, Hallie Kincaide of Scarbro, WV, Dasie (Cecil) Webb of Oak HIll, WV, Deanne (Calvin) Robinson of Republic, OH; nieces and nephews, Robert (Kathy) Dunn of Toledo, OH, Allen Ray (Janet) Dunn of Bellevue, Ellen (Craig) Lucius of Tiffin, Cathi (Jeff) Hunter of Monroeville, Nancy (Joe) Straight of Tiffin and 11 great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV on Sunday, February 19, 2006, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Graveside rites and committal will be on Monday, February 20, 2006, at 11:00 A.M. at Hilltop Cemetery, Hilltop, WV with Rev. Calvin Robinson officiating. Burial will be at Hilltop Cemetery, Hilltop WV.
