Victoria L. Mattox Martin

Victoria Lavonne Mattox Martin , 43, of Beckley, WV died on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at her home. Born May 09, 1969 at Cincinnati, OH she was the daughter of Shirley Lewis Hamilton of Oak Hill, WV and the late James H. Mattox. Her maternal grandparents, Martin Davis Lewis and Leitha June Bragg Nutter, paternal grandparents, Ken and Lula Mattox and a nephew, Landon Dante' Loving preceded her in death. In addition to her mother, Victoria is survived by two sons, Brandon J. Simmons of North Carolina and Dougie Ellison of Beckley, a daughter, Ashley N. Simmons of North Carolina, two brothers, Patrick T. Mattox of Oak Hill and James J. Mattox of Oak Hill, a sister, Margaret A. Mattox Talouzi of Oak Hill and a nephew, Shawn M. Faykus of Oak Hill. She is also survived by an aunt and uncle, Clarris and Herbie Skaggs, uncle, Rev. Joseph Bragg, close family friend, Barry Barnes and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Joe Cuthbertson officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Following the service Victoria will be cremated.
