Vicki L. Bolen

Vicki Lynn Clay Bolen, 56, of Beckley, WV died on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born September 12, 1950 at Mount Hope, WV she was the daughter of the late Carl and Lesta Craigo Clay. Vicki was a member of the Kilsyth Freewill Baptist Church where she taught classes and worked with the children for many years. She faithfully attended Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church until her illness. She was employed at Raleigh General Hospital for 15 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. A brother, Steve Clay preceded her in death. Survivors include husband of 35 years, Michael L. Bolen; son, Jason M. Bolen and wife, Indy of Jumping Branch, WV; daughter, Stacey L. Blazer and husband, John of Grandview, WV; two brothers, Loren Clay and wife, Connie of Cleveland, OH and Frank Clay and wife, Debbie of Shady Spring, WV; two sisters, Ruth Clay Woolard and husband, Don of Des Allemands, LA and Carol Clay Bennett and husband, Bill of Mount Hope, WV; sister-in-law, Kay Clay of Oak Hill, WV; two granddaughters, Kelci Keel Bolen and Raven Jade Bolen both of Jumping Branch, WV; three grandsons, Joshua Blazer and Clay Blazer of Grandview, WV and Sawyer Jay Bolen of Jumping Branch, WV and by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Friday, April 27, 2007, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Services will be on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Pastor Roger Tolliver Pastor David Brooks officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV. Friends will serve as pallbearers with Joshua and Clay Blazer and Sawyer Bolen as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley WV 25801.
