Vermeda Toney Snuffer , 71, of Scarbro, WV died on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Born October 14, 1943 in Fayette County, WV she was the daughter of the late Leon F. Toney, Sr. and Pauline Pemberton Toney.
She was a homemaker.
A daughter, Derrenda Ellen Waugh Burgess; and two brothers, Leon F. Toney, Jr. and Rufus Toney and a sister, Almeda Smith preceded her in death.
Survivors include husband, Larry Snuffer; son, Harry D. Waugh, Jr. of Scarbro; daughter, Belinda Carol Waugh of Princeton; four brothers, Billy Con Toney and wife, Lucille of Charlottesville, VA, Larry Toney and wife, Michele of Florida, Cooper Allen Toney and wife, Caryn of Florida and Clyde Toney and wife, Anna of Lochgelly; sister-in-law, Patsy Toney of North Carolina; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
Graveside rites and committal services will be on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity with Bob Creed officiating. Entombment will follow.
There will be no visitation.
