Twyla Lilly Brown

Twyla Dawn Lilly Brown , 42, of Surfside Beach, SC formerly of Mount Hope, WV died on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Hospice Center in Mount Pleasant, SC. Born August 21, 1968 at Orlando, FL she was the daughter of Betty Jo Elmore Lilly and the late Howard Lilly, Jr. Twyla was service manager for Crabby Mike's Restaurant in Surfside Beach for 25 years. She was a 1986 graduate of Mount Hope High School and a member of Glenns Bay Baptist Church in Surfside. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Charles Lee Brown, son, Chad Brown of Surfside Beach, SC, daughter, Ashley Brown of Surfside Beach, SC, brother, John H. Lilly and wife, Frances of LaPorte, TX, sister, Phyllis Putnam of Mount Hope and special friends, Wes Sanders of Myrtle Beach, SC and Anita Jo Atkins of Kilsyth. Also surviving are grandsons, William Brown and Austin Brown. Funeral services will be on Monday, May 30, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Minister Ken Overdorf officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope, on Sunday, May 29, 2011 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
