Toni Yvonne Martin Burdette, 56, of Kilsyth, WV died on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at CAMC - Womens and Childrens Hospital in Charleston, WV following a short illness. Born August 27, 1948 at Kilsyth, WV she was the daughter of Zedia Wiseman Martin of Oak Hill and Bill Legg and his wife, Joyce of Altoona, FL. Toni was a Food Service Aide for Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV for over 10 years. Mrs. Burdette was a member of the Assemblies of God, Mount Hope, WV. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She loved being involved with her church's acitivites. In her spare time she enjoyed doing arts and crafts, flower arranging and reading. She was preceded in death by her a daughter, Alicia Dawn Burdette; grandparents, Joseph and Jesse Nettles Wiseman and a son-in-law, Shawn Richmond. Survivors include husband of 38 years, Clark Wayne Burdette; daugthers: Angela Criss and husband, Joey, of Mount Hope and Amanda Burdette and friend, Mike Wriston of Kilsyth; sister: Kimberly Spearin and husband, Jeffrey, of Eustis, FL; halfsisters: Billy Joyce and Margaret both of Florida; grandchildren: Sydney Michelle Criss and Joshua Criss both of Mount Hope. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Friday, November 19, 2004, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Services will be on Saturday, November 20, 2004 at 2:00 pm at the Assemblies of God Church, Mount Hope with Rev.Jessie Parker and Rev. Bill Bennett officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill WV.
