Tommy Joe Coleman

Tommy Joe Coleman , 76, of Scarbro, WV died on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at his home. Born July 01, 1936 at Kingston, WV he was the son of the late Azel Omer and Lillian Billings Coleman and stepson of the late Mary Bea Harper Coleman Holley. He was a retired materials handler for Ohio Brass. Mr. Coleman was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include his loving wife, Alice Vance Coleman, two sons, Otis Coleman and wife, Barbara of Redstar and Tim Coleman and wife, Laura of Barboursville, daughter, Lisa Wood and Larry Dilly, daughter-in-law, Robyn Coleman of Redstar, brother, Bobby Ray Coleman and wife, Lori of Warren, OH, sister, Margaret June Dunn of Beckley, and a special brother, Omer Coleman of Maysville, KY. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Matt Coleman, Crystal Coleman and Ryan Coleman all of Redstar, Christopher Wood and wife, Amber and Taylor Dilley along with a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Paul Basham officiating. Burial will be at Coleman Family Cemetery, Lick Fork. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
