Tommy Lewis Arrington, 58, of Oak Hill, WV died Friday, October 9, 2009, at Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill, following a short illness. Born May 11, 1951 at Chestnut Knob, WV to Charles and Mabel Dixon Arrington, who preceded him in death. He was a mechanic and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include two daughters, Cindy (Samuel) Smith of Scarbro and April (Nathan) Burk of Hilltop; four grandchildren, Amber and Sammy Smith of Scarbro and Brandon and Madison Burk of Hilltop; mother of his children, Penny Shelton Arrington of Oak Hill; fiancee, Pat Rhodes of Oak hill; one stepson, Gary Rhodes of Oak Hill; one stepdaughter, Shelia Ballangee of Oak Hill; one sister, Debrah Arrington, and two brothers, Charles and Timmie Arrington, all of Oak Hill; and four stepgrandchildren. Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, October 12, 2009, at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill, with Pastor Lum Toney officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday. Pallbearers will be Nathan Burk, Samuel Smith, Darrell Naylor, Forrest McFarland, George Harrah and Jimmy Sears.
