Tom W. Underwood

Tom Wayne Underwood, 50, of Beards Fork, WV died on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at his home. Born May 14, 1959 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of Gene Underwood, Sr. of Beards Fork, WV and the late Patsy Gail Perdue Underwood. He was a self-employed carpenter and carpet installer. Tom was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Montgomery. In addition to his father he is survived by two sons, Joshua Bickford and Zackary Bickford; two brothers, Gene Underwood, Jr. and Phillip Underwood and wife, Robin and a sister, Penny Atha and husband, Jackie all of Beards Fork. Also surviving are his granddaughter, Sienna Gail Peterson; nephews, Mike Atha, Cody Atha, Terry Morton and Jacob Underwood; nieces, Megan Underwood, Emilie Underwood, Shana Underwood and Jessica Gibson; great niece, Madison Atha and great nephew, Dayton Morton. A visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with cremation to follow.
