Timothy “Tim” D. Wolford, 42, formerly from Beards Fork, WV, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2011, at WVU Hospital surrounded by his loving family and close friends. He was born August 30, 1968, in Montgomery, WV, the son of Ronnie and Shelby Wolford, of Fayetteville, WV. Tim was of the Baptist Faith and attended the Robson Freewill Baptist Church; he also made the decision to be saved and accept Christ into his life before his death. He graduated from Valley High School in 1986. Tim was the owner of Wolford Construction, a business that he built with his late grandfather, Eugene Wolford, and father, Ronnie, both of whom were extremely proud of his hard work and the reputation he earned the family business. Tim was well-known for his hard work and talent, and also spent countless hours working and helping others. Tim is survived by his son, Chandler - the pride and joy of his life – who he cherished and loved so very much. He is also survived by Chandler’s mother, Angela Mullins-Wolford of Beckley; brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Heather Wolford, and nephews Tanner and Colt of Greensboro, NC; and sister and brother-in-law Amy Wolford-Terrell and Anthony Terrell, and nieces Alexis and Aleyah of Greensboro, NC; He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eugene and Merle Wolford, step-grandmother, Dollie Wolford, and maternal grandparents, Frank and Virginia Fox. The family will have visitation for friends on Tuesday, August 23rd from 6-8PM at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill, WV, and a service will be held on Wednesday, August 24th at 2PM at Tyree Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity, WV. Keith Black, Brian Williams,Robbie Williams, Chris Martin, Charlie Shuemake and Benny Dunefee will serve as pallbearers.
