Timothy James Thombs

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Timothy James Thombs, 45, of Lykens, PA. Timothy passed away on October 21, 2023.

Timmy was a native of Oak Hill, WV and enjoyed hunting and being on the river.

Timmy was born on September 8, 1978 in Cleveland, OH. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Mae Thombs.

Those left to mourn his loss include brother, Michael and Pamela Thombs, of Oak Hill, WV., and Rebecca and Frank Richardson, of Bradenton, FL. Timmy also leaves behind 6 children, Christopher and Sue Gray of Fairmont, WV., Brandon Simms of Beckley, WV., Mathew Simms of Elizabeth, WV. Madeline Thombs of Glendale, AZ., Dakota and Levi Thombs of Oak Hill, WV. Timmy also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Collyn, Jayda, Owen, Octavia, Alex, and Reagan; Timmy's aunt, Connie Paine and his uncle, Charles Cameron were always there to help him when his mother was unable. They were very important to him. Timmy had many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends that loved him dearly.

There will be a celebration of life from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill.
