Tim Wiley Holbrook, Sr.

Tim Wiley Holbrook Sr., 69, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, September 04, 2012 at his home. Born September 22, 1942 at Powellton, WV he was the son of the late Curtis Everette and Margaret Comer Holbrook. He was a retired carpenter. Tim was a US Army veteran. Left to cherish his memory as his sons, Tim. W. Holbrook, Jr. and wife, Christina of Oak Hill, Brian K. Holbrook and wife, Stephanie of Oak Hill, Eric Foster of Summersville, and Tim E. Holbrook of South Carolina and daughters, Valena Kidd and husband, Kenny of Daytona, FL, and Ashley Holbrook of South Carolina, four brothers, Dock Holbrook of Oak Hill, Tex Holbrook of Oak Hill, Terry Holbrook of Oak Hill and Paul Holbrook of Oak Hill and sisters, Judy Jones of Ansted, Jeanie Simmons of Virginia and Ginger Moore or Oak Hill. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Savannah Holbrook, Christopher Long, Mary Holbrook, Gaje Kidd, Haley Kidd, Kaden Kidd and Jamila Foster and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. David Sneed officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill with military graveside rites by Oak Hill VFW Post #3110. Friends may call from 12:30 PM until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
